MONTREAL -- Rene Bourque scored in the second period to give the Montreal Canadiens a 2-0 victory over the Flames on Tuesday, ending Calgarys five-game win streak in the process. Carey Price made 27 saves for Montreal (30-21-6) for his fourth shutout of the year and second in four games. David Desharnais added an empty netter for the Canadiens. Reto Berra stopped 25 shots for Calgary (21-28-7). Bourque, in only his second game against his old team, scored the winner for the Canadiens at 16:15 of the second period. Bourque was rather fortuitous on the play, notching his eighth goal of the year when a Brandon Prust pass banked off his left leg and beat Berra. The Flames have now lost four straight on the road. Patrick Nemeth scored 14:30 into the extra period of Game 5 Tuesday night to give Texas a 4-3 victory over St. Johns. "Three overtime games and coming from behind in a couple of them, It just shows all the character, and hard work we have in that locker room," said Texas forward Travis Morin. St. Johns took the lead for the first time when Riley intercepted a pass between the defencemen in the slot and capitalized on a breakaway chance, beating Stars goalie Cristopher Nilstrop above his glove 6:33 into the third period. The Stars tied the game when the puck hit off of Hedden in the slot, with several players crashing the net, and flipped up and over Hutchinson with 6:34 left in the third period.
