Winston, who is the president of the NFL Players Association, was signed by the Seattle Seahawks in July but cut a month later before the season started, making him a free agent. The 31-year-old tackle has played eight NFL seasons, the first six with the Houston Texans and one each for the Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals.
